The Luminaide Future Makers Education Resource© is a fully comprehensive education package promoting responsible consumerism and design to children. This teacher’s resource is aligned with the Curriculum Standards Framework (CSFII) and contains lesson plans and activities for middle school levels, teaching students about cradle to cradle design principles, recycling in the 1st and 3rd world, and responsible consumerism.
The resource acts as a platform for students to further develop their knowledge and understanding of what it means to live in a world of high consumerism and excess with waste problems of grand proportions.
The resource itself is intended to promote an ever-present awareness of the effects of our actions in the enviroment and encourage re-thinking and readjustment in our current way of life to adopt and embrace the 4R's: REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE & REFUSE
